  • This course is meant for people who haven’t had a chance to learn WordPress yet. It’s designed for introductory students and by the end you will feel very comfortable using WordPress.

I’m a web developer, designer and digital strategist based in Denver, CO, with over 8 years of experience. My main focuses include responsive web design and development, WordPress, SEM, SEO and social media.

Additionally, I spent seven years as a Communications professor. I taught and developed courses covering website design, web applications, social media, web analytics, multimedia journalism, mobile media, and blogging. I also designed a new major in Interactive Media, which has been offered since the Fall 2014 semester.

Requirements

  • You won't need to learn know anything before taking this course. If you would like to follow along and create your own website while we go you can set up an account with the web host (ie. Bluehost, GoDaddy, etc). If you have a domain name and a hosting account you can create a WordPress site as we go.
