LabInApp is a 3D, interactive Virtual Laboratory tool for a grade 12 Chemistry CBSE student which focuses on a heuristic approach of understanding science. Collides - To study the role of emulsifying agents in stabilising the emulsions of different oils.
Chemical Kinetics - To study the effect of concentration and temperature variation respectively on the rate of reaction between sodium thiosulphate and hydrochloric acid.
Chemical Kinetics - To study the effect of variation in concentration of iodide ions on the rate of reaction of iodide ions with hydrogen peroxide at room temperature.
Chemical Kinetics - To study the rate of reaction between potassium iodate (KIO3) and sodium sulphite (Na2SO3).
Thermochemical Measurement - To determine the enthalpy of dissolution of copper sulphate/potassium nitrate.
Thermochemical Measurement - To determine the enthalpy of neutralisation of a strong acid (HCl) with a strong base (NaOH).
Thermochemical Measurement - To determine the enthalpy change for the interaction between acetone and chloroform (hydrogen bond formation).
Electrochemistry - To study the variation in cell potential of the cell Zn/ Zn2+ ||Cu2+ /Cu with change in concentration of electrolytes (CuSO4/ZnSO4) at room temperature.
Titrimetric Analysis (Redox Reaction) - To determine the concentration/molarity of KMnO4 solution by titrating it against a 0.1 M standard solution of oxalic acid.
