Sorabh Kataria

Sorabh is a Partner in the Valuation and Business Modelling Group in EY Mumbai and has been extensively involved in helping his clients navigate the transaction cycle . His experience across both the private sector and advisory role has given him invaluable insights into the valuation and fund raising cycle. His previous role was with EY Australia where he spent 8 years providing decision support modelling , valuation and transaction services to some of Australia’s largest businesses and technology companies. Prior to joining Ernst & Young Sydney in Jan 2007, Sorabh worked for General Electric for over ten years in a number of roles across the Capital units roles in Finance, Integration, Risk, Quality and Operations. Sorabh is a six Sigma quality black belt and an engineer and MBA (FMS ) by education.


Sloka Balasubramanyan

Sloka is an Associate Vice President in the valuations and business modelling team of EY in India. She has over 6 years of experience in valuations, financial modelling, project finance, corporate finance, decision support, and transaction analyses. She has worked across various sectors such as real estate, infrastructure (power, utilities, transportation), telecom, industrial products, pharmaceuticals and technology. She has been trained in EY UK’s Financial Modelling Group which is the center of excellence for financial modelling in EY and has been instrumental in devising and delivering EY’s own financial modelling training. Prior to joining EY, she was with the Valuations practice at PwC for 1 year and with their Restructuring practice for over 2 years. She is a Chartered Accountant and Masters in Commerce (M.com – Management) from Mumbai University.


Vikas Gangwal

Vikas is an Associate Vice President in the Valuation & Business Modelling team at EY India. He possesses 11 years of experience in corporate finance strategy and financial modelling which encompasses project financing, debt restructuring model builds and varied decision support tools for corporates. In addition, he also has vast experience of auditing financial models. He has been trained in EY UK’s Financial Modelling Group which is the centre of excellence for financial modelling in EY. He has hands on experience in sectors such as real estate development, hospitals, highways, airports, power, telecommunications, oil & gas and many more. He also has an experience of delivering financial modelling training. Prior to joining EY, he worked with organisations like DLF Limited, GMR Airports Limited, where he was part of their Corporate finance and Strategy teams. Vikas holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Amity University and Bachelor in Commerce (Honours) from MDS University.
