Basics of Organizational Strategy

Course Description

Companies can create a competitive advantage by using their resources to create a greater value to customers than their competitors can give them; managers play an integral role leading this organizational process. A competitive advantage is built on a company’s resources that are valuable, rare, imperfectly imitable, and nonsubstitutable. For an organization to create a sustainable competitive advantage it needs to have a strategy. This course discusses how a competitive advantage is created, sustained, and changed within an organization.
